José Maria Condemi is the Artistic Director of The Private Stage and an acclaimed stage director and artistic leader with over three decades of experience in the opera and performing arts world. He has directed productions for major institutions across the U.S., including the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago, and previously served as Artistic Director at Opera Santa Barbara. Renowned for his visionary approach and deep understanding of musical storytelling, José Maria has collaborated with many of the world’s leading opera singers, conductors, and musicians. At The Private Stage, he brings his unparalleled expertise to curating intimate, world-class performances — ensuring each event is a masterfully crafted and unforgettable experience.

Jayme O’Hara

Jayme O’Hara is the Production Manager at The Private Stage. With over 20 years of experience as a stage manager at the San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, and the Sydney Opera House, she brings exceptional expertise in live performance production to every event. She has led the production of more than 150 world-class operas, working alongside the most renowned artists in the industry. From La Bohème to La Traviata, her expertise ensures that every performance runs flawlessly. At The Private Stage, she brings this unmatched skill in orchestrating seamless, high-caliber productions, guaranteeing an unforgettable musical experience tailored to each event.

William Thomas

William is the founder of The Private Stage and an expert in organizational behavior and employee engagement. His career has taken him across continents, from orchestrating prestigious events for Polo Clubs in India, the UK, and Switzerland to advising companies on workplace culture. A classically trained pianist with over 20 years of study under masters from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow, William has built lasting relationships with world-class musicians. Now based in San Francisco, with strong ties to the Opera, Symphony, Ballet, and Jazz communities, he created The Private Stage to unite his passion for music, human connection, and workplace transformation—curating exceptional cultural experiences that elevate gatherings into unforgettable moments of beauty.
